People Can works in England and Wales with people with fewer chances in life, helping them to use their abilities and work together for better lives and stronger communities. All of their work centres around the ‘can do’ principle: ask people what they can do and you get can do people.
We hosted the launch of People Can on Tuesday 25th October, an evening of celebration of the great work People Can does. The event was attended by the Lady Mayoress of Liverpool and many of the people who have greatly benefitted from the charity's work.
CUC Liverpool is a big part of People Can’s work. As a cultural and commercial hub in Liverpool, we run it as a social business. CUC hosts hundreds of arts, culture and corporate events every year. This means that all the money spent here is continually reinvested into supporting people and communities.
