DIRECTIONS 
CUC is a fifteen minute walk from Liverpool’s City Centre and is easily accessible from three of Liverpool’s central train stations: James Street, Liverpool Central and Lime Street Station.

From the main station, Lime Street, CUC is a 5-10 minute taxi journey costing approximately £4.

We are also a short walk from Liverpool’s main shopping centre Liverpool One and Albert Dock the city's main tourist attraction; both situated opposite each other on the Dock Road. Both areas have excellent parking facilities and are a 5-minute walk from James Street train station.

DIRECTIONS WALKING FROM ALBERT DOCK/LIVERPOOL ONE

Turn right out of the Albert Dock gates and cross over to ‘Liverpool One’ on the opposite side of the road. Walk straight down the dock road, walking past the ‘Baltic Fleet’ public house and the YHA hostel until you encounter McDonald’s restaurant on the corner of Blundell Street.

Turn left into Blundell Street, walking the full length until you reach the top. Proceed to turn right at the top into Jamaica Street where you will be able to see the CUC in the distance slightly to the left. Follow Jamaica Street, crossing over to the other side of the road until you reach Greenland Street and the CUC on the end.

BY TRAIN:
From the South - Virgin Rail operate hourly direct services to Liverpool Lime Street (London to Liverpool approx. 2.5 hours).

From the North - Virgin Rail to Wigan North Western, Local train to Liverpool Lime Street.
CUC is a 15 -25 minute walk from Lime Street, a short taxi ride, you can take a Merseyrail train to James Street or catch the Route S1 bus.

BY PLANE:
Flying to John Lennon Airport - taxi to the City Centre will take approximately 20 minutes, or a bus will take approximately 40 minutes.

BY CAR - FROM THE NORTH
Take M6 to junction 26 and follow signs M58 Liverpool. Follow to end of M58 and follow signs for A59 Liverpool. Continue to follow A59 City Centre until picking up signs for the Albert Dock. This will take you right off the A59 onto the A5053 heading for the Albert Dock. Follow signs for the Albert Dock onto the A5052 which leads onto the A5036, which in turn leads onto the A562. This is Parliament Street.CUC is on your left.

BY CAR - FROM THE SOUTH
M6 to junction 21A, take M62 to Liverpool, follow signs for City Centre, until picking up signs for the Albert Dock. This will take you via the A59 onto the A5053 heading for the Albert Dock. This will take you right off the A59 onto the A5053 heading for the Albert Dock. Follow signs for the Albert Dock onto the A5052 which leads onto the A5036, which in turn leads onto the A562. This is Parliament Street. CUC is on your left.

PARKING
Parking is currently limited at the CUC although there are a number of streets in the surrounding area that have no restrictions, but they can become busy. There are a number of car parks in Liverpool, the closest being Liverpool Hanover Street.  Click here for more information.
